High Country Baby Party! Save the Date!

We have received over 35 entries so far in the HIgh Country Baby Photo Contest! They are all so adorable! You can scroll down to see the slide show and click here to enter the contest!

I am pleased to announce that we will be having a big shindig to announce the winners, and just have fun!It will be:

Thursday, November 6th, 6:00-7:30 PM at the Dragonfly Theater in Boone

I will provide the popcorn, and it will be dutch-treat dinner! Dragonfly serves Chili, Sandwiches and Nachos, and more! We’ll also have door prizes, your baby’s photo on the big screen, and Live music with Laura Kaufman. We’ll also announce the winners and award the grand prize, a photo package from Farrington Photography! Bring the whole family!

As 2009 looms close-by, I’m hoping to make a few changes that will help the Mom Squad grow. This site is here as a service to you: moms, dads, grandparents, families! Through this site, I’ve already seen some ways that we as families can influence the community, connect with each other, spur local businesses to meet our unique needs, and just have fun.

But the Mom Squad would be nothing without you! So here are some ways you can get involved:
