Springtime Warmth Through Saturday

Warm weather continues through Saturday. There will be a few evening and (more) overnight showers. A rumble of thunder is also possible. Saturday might be the weather pick of the weekend with a few peeks of sunshine and a continuation of nice temperatures. We conclude the weekend with gray skies, along with afternoon and nighttime light rain and drizzle. Temperatures will be noticeably cooler as well.

Forecast Discussion

A cold front is inbound from the west, and will pass through early Saturday. Ahead of the front, showers will become likely late this evening and overnight. An embedded thundershower will also be possible.

Saturday will be another very mild day with maybe some looks at the sun. Thereafter, there will be a wedge of high pressure nosing southward into the area on Sunday promoting a cooler, gray day. Areas of light rain and drizzle will develop, primarily during the afternoon and Sunday night, perhaps lingering into Monday morning.

There will be a break in the action on Tuesday along with milder temperatures. A warm front is expected to bring more showers to the area by late Tuesday into early Wednesday.
